There are no wildfires in the city of Albany, nor is the city currently under any level of evacuation order. Smoke in the area is from fires in the region.
Please do not call 911 unless you see an active fire.
Drinking water for Albany and Millersburg customers is not under any threat from the wildfires. The Albany-Millersburg and Vine Street water treatment plants are both operating at normal capacity and have not been affected by fire, smoke or ash.
All water reservoirs are at their operating levels and the distribution system is functioning normally. Should these conditions change, Albany-Millersburg water customers will be notified by the City of Albany through social media and our other alert platforms.
